America has been transformed from the land of the bold and the free to the land of heartless chickens.
I remember not so long ago when the utterance "God Bless America" was common......but now no-one(except americans themselves) can sincerely say such a statement WHY?
Because America has become a land of Civilised Cowards who will not dare to stand up for what they truly believe but instead choose to live in material comfort while their liberty is stolen away from them bit by bit.
Americans have chosen to assume a appearence of bravado yet deep inside they all know they have sold their soul to the devil.
The attrocities that George Bush and his allies have committed will not go unpunished as the world is now aware of the real reason Bush Invaded iraq.

Personally, I believe the United States is standing up for itself, maybe a little too much with the War in Iraq. They stood up in Afghanistan, which was necessary, but the loss of lives in Iraq is literally just ridiculous and uncalled for. We did not do anything but cause a civil war, one that seemd plausible from the Germans, French among others in Europe who were unwilling to support our cause in the territory at the time.
I take issue with the idea of fighting wars to "free" other people and spread democracy when I look around and everyday more and more of my civil liberties seem threatened. I agree that Americans can be too comfotable in there material possessions and as long as they have gas for their SUV and all of the commoditites they want then they will never question anything.
